Chicken Rice

Satey/ Sate

sateSkewered meat on sticks, barbeque's over charcoal. Eaten with a dip spicy peanut sauce, cucumber and onion slices and rice cake, choice of Chicken,Mutton,Beef,Rabbit and Deer.

This Sate believe been introduce by Jawa people who immigrated from Sumatra Island of Indonesia to Malaysia during British colonial. even you can found sate everyway in Kuala Lumpur but its best to try this Sate at where its come from, Kajang. Located about 20 minutes driving from Kuala Lumpur you try the famous Haji Samuri Sate at the biggest Sate Restaurant in the world.

Kuih/Cake

 

kuehSweet food make of flour, sugar…etc. A popular specialty of the Peranakan community. This small pieces kueh normally served during Coffee break and also can be found during breakfast.

Thosai

indian-capati-thosaiis a batter made from lentils and rice blended with water and left to ferment overnight. The batter is spread into a thin, circular disc on a flat, preheated pan, where it is fried with a dash of edible oil or ghee until the dosa reaches a golden brown color. Then the thosai may optionally be turned over on the pan, and partially fried. The end product is neatly folded and served. Thosai is served with sambar (vegetable curry) and coconut chutney.
